This program is open to the public and free.
Attendees will have an opportunity to explore the Lightship Overfalls and learn more about the history of lightships and the life and challenges of those who served aboard.
This program features the language of signal flags and attendees will learn how to use the “Flag Alphabet” to communicate. There will also be a crafting session where attendees will create their own flag design as a take home souvenir.
This activity will stimulate further interest in learning more about our region’s maritime history and the value of preserving this story for the future.
Each student must be accompanied by an adult.
